The Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF) and KuppingerCole are excited to announce a collaboration aimed at bringing new value to members, customers and digital transformation leaders.
DIF is a global membership organization that is building the foundational elements necessary to establish security, privacy, interoperability and trust between the participants in any digital ecosystem.
Founded in 2004, KuppingerCole is a European analyst company focusing on identities and access management, their governance, and risk management to facilitate innovation and secure, privacy-maintaining information management.
Planned activities include a program of joint virtual events and targeted publications. The two organizations are also exploring the potential to leverage their tools, processes and operational resources to create a first-of-a-kind industry collaboration platform.
“Our strategic partnership with KuppingerCole marks a pivotal moment for decentralized identity, accelerating its impact and reach,” said Kim Hamilton Duffy, Executive Director of DIF. “Our members are at the helm of creating the next-generation infrastructure for secure, user-focused ecosystems that will transform our digital interactions. Partnering with KuppingerCole will allow broader audiences to discover these innovations and explore new capabilities and business models they enable.”
“By combining our expertise in identity and access management with DIF's global reach and commitment to building trust in digital ecosystems, we are poised to deliver unparalleled insights and solutions to enterprises navigating the decentralized identity landscape. Together, we aim to empower organizations to embrace decentralized identity technologies confidently and securely, driving innovation and fostering trust in the digital age," added Martin Kuppinger, Co-Founder of KuppingerCole.
The partnership kicks off with Road to EIC: Leveraging Reusable Identities in Your Organization, a virtual event at 7:00am PST, 10:00am EST, 4:00pm CEST on April 03. A second virtual event, Building Trust in AI, is being planned for May.
DIF is set to play a prominent role at the European Identity and Cloud conference (EIC) in Berlin from 4 - 7 June, including a keynote address, use case presentations and panel discussions featuring DIF leadership, members and liaison partners.
